Hi there! Last weekend, I helped out a little at a wonderful charity event: the Unforgettable Crop for Kids. It was a scrapbooking event that raised money for The Unforgettables Foundation which helps families who have lost loved ones. It's a great charity. My pal Aubrey and I did make-n-takes (a CD cover and a candy gift box) using papers and embellishments that were generously donated by Making Memories (thanks MM!).
Donna and another good friend Candice Carpenter (Candice is on the Autumn Leaves design team; I love her work!) were also there doing make-n-takes. Donna did her fabulous Card Buffet, and Candice made this cute cupcake tag which we videotaped.
Apologies for the video quality
Once again, sorry about the quality of the video. It's difficult to hear us at the crop event, and the video of me at the end is kind of blurry. On top of that, our editing team *cough*Johanna*cough* had a typo in the credits, LOL!
CHA in February!
At the end of the video, I talk a little bit about what we have planned for February. Johanna, with the help of some friends, will be filming at the Craft and Hobby Association convention! They want to show you all the cool brand new scrapbook products on the same day that they find them, and they'll do this for 3 days! So we'll have 3 videos for you the week of February 10th plus you'll see Angela, Donna, Johanna, Mel, Pattye and other friends that week. And to top it off, there will be some cool prizes each of those days! You won't see much of me at all that week because I'll be working - I have a lot of meetings while at CHA - but I'm sure these girls will keep you entertained :)
Mel and Pattye
Before I go, I wanted to let you know that Mel and Pattye have created a short video about upcoming classes and projects that they have in the works, and you can see it here on YouTube or on Mel's blog. Check their blogs out in the future too to see other fun videos they will create.
Okay, that's it for now. Have a great week!
