Hey friends! How's everyone doing? Donna, Johanna, and I were able to tape a new video yesterday. In this video, Johanna shows us a very fun birthday banner. She's going to teach this project at Yellow Bird Scrapbooking in El Cajon, California on October 9th. To sign up, call (619) 579-7422.
Later in October, we'll post this project in our Etsy shop. Speaking of Etsy, I just posted my mini book kit shown in last week's video (just scroll down to see a picture). If the shop runs out of these kits while I'm in Florida, I'll post a few more when I return.
Prizes
This week's prize is one of Johanna's birthday banner kits! Just leave a comment under this video (or under the same video at YouTube or Howcast) by Sept. 28th, and we'll randomly pick a name next week.
Thank you to everyone who subscribed to our videos last week! Between Howcast and YouTube (mostly at YouTube), we now have 537 subscribers. The winner of last week's prize (a great mix of goodies from Making Memories) turned out to be someone who subscribed at Howcast - it's sew7752. Congrats sew7752! Email me your name and address, I'll get your prize in the mail this week.
Have a fabulous week, everyone! And if you have a free moment, please say a prayer for my safe travels. Thanks!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing. I love your video series.

Gorgeous. I've been planning to make one of these for about a year since I saw the Jenny Bowlin scalloped shapes, now I see Stampin Up are producing a scalloped die, I think I need that one.

that banner is just so kewl!!!
we had a Farrel's in Miami when I was a kid, I remember going there when I got my drivers license, we had SO much fun! They are no longer in this state and I miss them ;o( we held my 16th birthday party there and invited the band, the gymnastic team, and two or three clubs, we filled that place up, it was a blast!!! thanks for bringing back some really great memories.

Very cute project. I love that you used that star wire stuff to hang the letters off of. I think I'll look for a Halloween wire for the Halloween banner I want to make.
