Don't know if you tried this when you were punching your crepe paper, but, if you put a layer of cardstock under the layer it usually punches much better. Sorry I couldn't try it, but I don't have any crepe paper at my house. Cute projects.

thanks!! that is a great idea to back it with cardstock! i tried to punch it and make it thicker by punching 4 layers at a time, but it didnt work!
