Hello friends! In this week's video, my little guy shows you a board game that he created. He designed the whole thing. I helped with the computer stuff and printing, but he decided on all the content, did much of the typing, chose the fonts, colors, etc. He even thought of crumpling strips of green cardstock to glue around the board. He must have picked up that idea from watching Donna in our videos :)
The board is simply a 12x12 sheet of chipboard with a sheet of cardstock glued on top. A smaller piece of chipboard was glued on oneside for the title. I helped my son put the crumpled green cardstock around the board. We tried using regular glue at first but I switched to a hot glue gun which made it go a lot quicker (I did all the hot glueing).
Dinopoly Printouts
It's a lot of fun if you let your kids plan and create their own game from scratch, but if your little one wants to make this Dinopoly game, please email me. I have the printouts for all the Dinopoly board game blocks, "Fossil" and "Bone" cards, Dino money, etc. I'm more than happy to share those with you.
How totally cute!!! I just love this idea. Thank you so much for sharing. And your little guy is adorable.
